In a recent episode of Giant Bombcast, Jeff Grubb mentioned that the next PlayStation Showcase is expected to take place in May. While he’s not sure about the exact week, he suggests the event could take place in the second half of the month.
He also points out that the announcement of the event is close and that Sony should carry it out at any moment. Last month, it is worth remembering that John Harker, a member of the ResetEra forum, had commented on the possibility of an event for the month of May, but did not go into details.
Sony already held another PlayStation Showcase in May
In 2023, Sony held a PlayStation Showcase during the month of May that revealed news about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The event also brought news about the game Marathon, which is being developed by Bungie.
