A Cocoa Show, one of the main companies in the sector, has gained prominence in the market and leads the industry of this much-loved sweet. However, to the company’s concern, the owner of the Nature opened a new chocolate store, threatening its position in the market.

In 2017, the owner of the Brazilian multinational cosmetics company chose to launch a company with the aim of surpassing his competitor, Cacau Show.

As reported by Folha Pernambuco, the company is prepared to expand its operations abroad. In fact, Cacau Show’s competitor opened its first unit in the lively Montmartre neighborhood in Paris, according to the portal.

The owner of the cosmetics brand establishes a partnership with a local partner, Frenchman Charles Znaty, to join the international brand.

According to him, the expectation is for a 20% increase in chocolate production by 2023. The company’s main product is raw chocolate bars, known as ‘quebra-quebras’.

However, what makes the brand most proud is its contribution to the cocoa economy. While retail receives 50% of the value of the final product, the industry receives approximately 38%.

“The cocoa tree, who had to work for six months, only gets 4% to 5% of the final value”said the businessman.

Additionally, the brand has 200 suppliers, a number that plans to increase to 10 times in the coming years. The corporation’s main highlight is its emphasis on customer experience.

Sellers offer detailed information about the brand and product. After one year at the company, all employees travel to Bahia to get to know the farmers and the cocoa production process.
