The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE was accidentally listed by a UK operator this Friday. The movement drew attention, as the device is scheduled to be launched at the end of the year.

Still, with this we now know that the Galaxy S24 FE is really in an advanced development process, and its number is SM-S721U.

The smartphone will also have other numbers: SM-S721B, SM-S721U, SM-S721W and SM-S721N for the global markets, USA, Korea and Canada, respectively.

As expected, Samsung’s new affordable top of the line should have support for 5G connection and also NFC for contactless payments with Samsung Pay.

At the moment, we still do not have a complete technical sheet for the Galaxy S24 FE, as the “season” of certifications with regulatory agencies has not started.

In any case, previous leaks revealed that the Galaxy S24 FE should be announced globally with a chipset from the Exynos line. The screen will be a 6.7-inch AMOLED 2X, with 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.

Furthermore, the smartphone will have variants with up to 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage, while the main camera will deliver 50 MP resolution.

The set is completed by a 4,500 mAh battery and Android 14 as the operating system. So far, Samsung remains silent about the rumors surrounding the Galaxy S24 FE.
