Terra Nostra and remake of Pecado Capital: see the news coming to Globoplay in May | Soap opera world

This month of May, more classics from TV Globo’s dramaturgy continue to fill the Globoplay catalog with projects Rescue, Originality It is Fragments. Starting with the remake of Capital sin, from 1998, which arrived this Monday (6), through the Resgate project. Remake of the 1975 work by Janete Clair, Gloria Perez’s work has as its central theme the life of Carlão (Eduardo Moscovis), an honest and hot-tempered taxi driver, who discovers in his car a suitcase with two million reais, the result of a bank robbery.

Afraid of being accused of being an accomplice, he decides to return the suitcase, even though he knows he could use the money to solve his life and marry his fiancée Lucinha (Carolina Ferraz). Still for Resgate, the 1999 season of Workout and the miniseries Decadence.

Closing the month, on the 27th, two classics stand out. The novelty of the Originalidade project is the full version of Terra Nostra, novel written by Benedito Ruy Barbosa. The work addresses Italian immigration and its importance in the formation of Brazilian society, based on the romance between young Matteo (Thiago Lacerda) and Giuliana (Ana Paula Arósio).

In the Fragmentos project, six preserved chapters of the novel Fire Over Earth enter the catalogue. Released in 1974 and written by Janete Clair, the plot showcased the conflicts between urban modernity and rural tradition. In the late 1950s, two brothers separated in childhood meet again as rivals when deciding the fate of a city and competing for the love of the same woman.

• Capital Sin (Remake) – Extraction

Second version of the soap opera written by Janete Clair in 1975, Pecado Capital tells the story of José Carlos Moreno, known as Carlão, an honest and hot-tempered taxi driver, who discovers in his car a suitcase with two million reais, the result of a robbery. Bank.
