The announcement was made by PSX Bunlith, responsible for the game, https://twitter.com/b0tster/status/1775191464147829064. The game will have 20 corridors, 16 maps, a campaign mode with boss fights and also a battle mode. And, of course, all this “without legal problems”.

In addition to the announcement video, https://twitter.com/b0tster/status/1775264409121886707 with news about the game’s development was also published with some details of what was replaced to avoid Sony’s lawsuit.

Former Bloodborne Kart developer “expected” problems

Bunlith, when he received Sony’s notification a few months ago, explained that it didn’t come as a surprise:

“As I’ve said in several interviews, we were all hoping for this so we might be pleasantly surprised if it didn’t happen. It happened, so we’re changing course (laughs) to address it. I’ll get back to you ASAP when we have a new release date!! As much as I pushed for this to be “the meme made real,” so to speak, turning this into an original game with full creative control is kind of exciting. This is no longer just a fan game! Anyway, thank you for everyone’s understanding!!”he commented.

And you, will you still be curious to try the former Bloodborne Kart on PC? Nightmare Kart is coming!
