The Red Magic 9 Pro+ will receive a new version later this week. Inspired by the franchise Transformersthe model will be sold in a variant that has as its theme the Bumblebee character. This isn’t a big surprise, as brands have been collaborating to launch special products like this for a long time.
It’s worth remembering the Red Magic 7S Pro model, for example, which also got a special version inspired by the robot. The new model, in turn, has a more extravagant appearance, with a predominant yellow tone across the entire back, while a centralized black stripe from top to bottom highlights the logos and the camera module.
The modifications don’t stop there and include a personalized theme in the device’s operating system, with icons that implement a metallic-style textured look. Likewise, the model’s packaging comes with personalized accessories, such as a case and a cooling accessory.
Other items include a Bumbleblee emblem and personalized cards, as well as a gallium nitride charger with 165W of power. The specifications, in short, do not change compared to the traditional version launched in November last year and include a 6.8-inch OLED screen with 120 Hz and 2,480 x 1,116 pixel resolution.
Inside, it features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, the proprietary Red Core R2 Pro chip and a 5,500 mAh battery. The mentioned charger, then, has the capacity to provide a full charge in 16 minutes. The new version is scheduled to be released on March 29th.
