Simone Mendes recalls her decision to pursue a career without Simaria: ‘I was very afraid’

Simone Mendes broke up with his sister, Simariain 2022. Before her solo success, which highlighted her on Spotify and earned her the Multishow Award in the Sertanejo of the Year and Hit of the Year categories, for “Erro Gostoso”, the singer was afraid to pursue a solo career. In “Conversa com Bial”, the artist recalled the beginning of this phase.

“I was very afraid because, in our history, it is very difficult for a couple to separate and work out,” said Simone.

According to her, her husband, Kaka Diniz, was the one who encouraged her to pursue a solo career. “And then fear knocked on my door and he was by my side saying: ‘Simone, go. It’s going to work, keep going, it’s your dream, you can’t stop’”, he recalled.

Married for 11 years to the businessman, with whom she has two children, Simone explained the couple’s tactic for maintaining a good relationship: “We take great care of our relationship, we take one day a week to date, to live together.”

When it comes to caring for their children, the couple takes turns. “While mom is on the road, he is a big daddy who will take the kids to the park, the doctor and anything within his reach”, explained Simone.
