Fear and tension take over New York in the new trailer for A Quiet Place: Day One, which has just been released by Paramount Pictures. In the preview, the protagonists Sam and Eric, played by Lupita Nyong’o It is Joseph Quinnrespectively, see their lives transforming with the arrival of aliens in the city.
The A Quiet Place franchise became extremely acclaimed thanks to the films starring couple John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, showing a post-apocalyptic world in which alien creatures with super hearing overwhelm humanity.
With all the success of the first two films, Paramount is ready to expand the franchise by launching A Quiet Place: Day One, which chronicles the arrival of these creatures on Earth and the despair of the residents of New York.
In addition to the protagonist couple, Djimon Hounsou, known for films such as Gladiator and Blood Diamond, and Alex Wolff, from Oppenheimer and Hereditary, complete the cast.
John Krasinski, mind behind the franchise and director of the first two features, returns to this work as producer alongside Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. The executive production is signed by the duo Allyson Seeger – who also produced the other two films in the franchise – and Vicki Dee Rock.
Written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, the film is based on characters created by Bryan Woods and Scott Beck.
A Quiet Place: Day One is scheduled to premiere in Brazilian cinemas for June 27th.
