Real Madrid achieves a historic turnaround at Bayern Munich and is in the Champions League final; see the goals

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich promoted one of the biggest games of the 2023/24 season with the second duel of the Champions League semi-final. At the Santiago Bernabéu, the Whites defeated the Germans 2-1 (4-3 on aggregate) and are in the final of the biggest European competition. Joselu, twice, was the hero of the match, while Alphonso Davies scored for the Bavarians.

With this result, the decision will be between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid, on June 1st, at Wembley, in London.

HEROIC VICTORY!
Against any opponent, Real Madrid, playing at home, is superior, regardless of the moment. And it was no different. With Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo and Bellingham, the Spanish team lit up the match, and stopped at Manuel Neuer’s great saves – which could even be considered ‘miracles’.

In the second half, at 23′, Alphonso Davies opened the scoring. The left-back invaded the area, dribbled past his marker and hit a beautiful shot into Lunin’s left corner.

Two minutes later, Real Madrid found an equalizer with Nacho Fernández, but the referee signaled a foul on Kimmich, in the penalty area.

But the story changed. At 43′, Manuel Neuer entered the scene, this time, in a different episode than normal. The goalkeeper failed grotesquely in his attempt to save a shot from Vinícius Júnior and, in the end, Joselu left everything the same.

With enormous pressure from the home team, the victory was on paper. In stoppage time, in the 46th minute, Joselu once again increased the score, assisted by Rüdiger. The move was reviewed by VAR for offside analysis, but subsequently validated.
