Mengão is second in group E of the Libertadores, with four points, one more than their opponent Palestino and three ahead of Millonarios. Group leader Bolívar has nine points, with 100% success in the three matches.
Tite’s team enters the field to try to gain an advantage in the group, as they cannot, in this round, reach Bolívar and take the lead in group E. One of Flamengo’s key players, Arrascaeta will be missing from the squad in the game. Everton Cebolinha, Viña and Fabrício Bruno should return as starters.
While Flamengo is going through a complicated phase in the Brasileirão, Palestino is second in the Chilean Championship, and is coming off a 3-1 victory against Copiapó. Pablo “Vitamina Sánchez”’s team is tied on points with Coquimbo Unido, owner of Francisco Rumoroso, the venue for the Libertadores clash.
