Arthur Lanci/Evandro beat compatriots and secure themselves in Paris

Brazilians Arthur Lanci and Evandro defeated their compatriots André/George, advanced to the decision of the Elite 16 in Brasilia and mathematically qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Now, Brazil has completed the four pairs (two men’s and two women’s) that will represent in the multi-sport event. The beach volleyball tournament will start on July 27th.

The match that marked Arthur and Evandro’s classification was valid for the semifinals of the Brasília stage of the Beach Volleyball World Tour. In the men’s group, they beat their Brazilian rivals by a score of 2 to 1 (21/19, 17/21 and 15/12). In the decision of the event, the partnership will face the Dutch Matthew Immer and Steven van de Velde. The duel will take place this Sunday (5), starting at 7pm.

Among the men, Arthur Lanci and Evandro will be the Brazilian representatives in Paris-2024, together with the men themselves. Andrew and George.
