There was Madonna in Copacabana and Barra da Tijuca. After Iasmin Lucindo’s victory and before Joanderson Brito’s duel, the DJ played a song by the “Queen of Pop”, who was performing in the south zone of Rio.

Famous master of ceremonies Bruce Buffer almost made a faux pas. After Anthony Smith’s triumph, he started to say the name of Brazilian Vitor Petrino when announcing the winner, but soon corrected himself. Buffer, in fact, was one of the stars of the night, with several requests for photos from fans.

Meeting of Brazilians in the conference and play room. Caio Borralho and Michel Pereira crossed paths in the press conference room. Borralho, when speaking to journalists, took a photo with a hat that belonged to a reporter. Michel joked: “Did you become a cowboy?”, and Borralho replied: “Nerd cowboy”, in reference to The Fighting Nerds, the name of the team to which he belongs.

Alex Poatan caused a stir among MMA fans. The Brazilian fighter went to watch UFC 301 and was heavily mobbed in one of the areas of the Farmasi Arena.
