Lando Norris abandoned the Sprint race at the Formula 1 Miami GP, right at the first corner, but the incident was not his fault. Angry, the McLaren driver fired at some colleagues on the grid.

Norris was on the outside of Turn 1 when Lewis Hamilton attempted a daring maneuver on the inside. The Brit’s touch with Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso ended up causing a ripple effect that pushed Alonso’s car into Lance Stroll, who in turn touched Norris.

Despite starting P1 in the last Sprint race in China, Norris only achieved P9 on the starting grid in Miami. The British driver took the opportunity to poke at his rivals: “I think we paid the price today for being among drivers who were a little more careless. It’s the position we put ourselves in because of a bad job yesterday, and I did a bad job myself. But the pace is good, the car is good, and we can still have a great weekend,” Norris told Sky Sports.
