Palmeiras scores in stoppage time and beats Botafogo-SP 2-1
Palmeiras returned to work this Friday morning, hours after the electrifying 2-1 victory over Botafogo-SP, at Allianz Parque, in the first leg of the third phase of the Copa do Brasil.
Gustavo Gómez, Zé Rafael and Flaco López, spared in Thursday’s clash, participated in the activity fully.
The defender got some rest, while the midfielder followed a specific schedule after recovering from low back pain, and the center forward did not play with neck pain.
Those who played more than one time against Botafogo-SP carried out regenerative activities at the Football Academy.
Abel Ferreira will lead the team in one last training session this Saturday, before traveling to face Cuiabá, Sunday, at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), at Arena Pantanal, in the fifth round of the Brasileirão.
In the national championship, the team is in 12th place, with five points in four games.
