Inter de Limeira announced, this Thursday (2/5), the hiring of coach Felipe Conceição, ex-Cruzeiro. He arrives to replace Júnior Rocha, who transferred to Guarani.
According to the club, Elton Macaé, Júnior Rocha’s assistant, leads Inter in the match against Costa Rica-MS this Sunday (5/5), at 5pm, at Laertão, in the city of the same name, for the second round of Series D of the Brazilian Championship . Then, Felipe Conceição takes over the position.
In their debut in Series D, Inter defeated Pouso Alegre 1-0, at home, in Limeirão.

Felipe Conceição for Cruzeiro
The coach arrived at Cruzeiro in January 2021. After early elimination in the third phase of the Copa do Brasil that year, against Juazeirense-BA, in June, the Celeste board, chaired by Sérgio Santos Rodrigues, chose to dismiss him.
Felipe Conceição led Raposa in 19 games – eight wins, three draws and eight defeats, in addition to 21 goals scored and 18 conceded.
He has also managed São Gonçalo, Gonçalense, Botafogo, Macaé, América, Bragantino, Guarani, Remo, Chapecoense, Náutico, Sampaio Corrêa, Santa Cruz and Uberlândia.
