Fans face long queue in store to buy new Botafogo shirt | Botafogo

On the first day of sale of the new black and white shirt, this Thursday (2), fans faced a long queue, with about an hour and a half of waiting under the sun and around the block, in the official Glorioso store, next to the General Severiano headquarters. There are reports that the same happened at other points of sale.

The reason for going to a physical store and not buying online was varied, but the objective is the same: to secure the Botafogo shirt as soon as possible for the rest of the season and for the beginning of 2025. University student Jorge Baldner, 20 years old , for example, I didn’t want to go through the same difficulty I had to receive my purchase onlineas in 2023.

“Because of the launch last year, when sales were very difficult, I preferred to physically come to the store so I could buy and leave with the shirt. So I didn’t have to wait around 15, 30 days, because I think it takes a long time very big,” said the young man.

Sailor Lucas Neves, 24, couldn’t contain his anxiety about waiting a few more days. He he already wants to wear the new shirt when he is at Nilton Santos this Thursday (2), against Vitóriafor the third phase of the Copa do Brasil.

“What motivated me to be here today was the rush we are in, anxious to have the shirt in our hands. After all, the game is coming soon and we’ll be wearing the new shirt”, he warned.

Launched on Tuesday (30), Botafogo’s new black and white shirt debuts against Vitória and it’s not the only new thing. The training and warm-up ones are also on sale. SAF and Reebok, a supplier of sports equipment, will present uniforms 2 (black) and 3 (white) in the coming months.
