O Santos studying the return of left-back Lucas Pires and awaiting a proposal from right-back Nathan. Peixe’s full-backs are on loan to European football until the middle of the year and are waiting to see if the clubs will be interested in purchasing them definitively. Lucas Pires plays for Cádiz (Spain) and Nathan for Famalicão (Portugal).

The Spanish and Portuguese teams have not yet given any feedback to Alvinegro and have until June 30th to make a decision. According to Lucas, the purchase option would be for 2.5 million euros (R$ 13.6 million). While for Nathan the purchase option is 2 million euros (R$ 10.9 million).

The club’s Football Department is evaluating the return of Lucas Pires, who today would have competition from Hayner, Gonzalo Escobar, Dodô and Souza, from the Under-20s, as options in the position. As for Nathan, Santos’ idea was a permanent sale, as they don’t have the athlete for the season and still need to make money.

In addition to a possible third Transferban debt with Argentino Juniors (Argentina) for the purchase of Gabriel Carabajal, he also has a debt with Vasco himself for signing the right-back.

Lucas Pires went to Spain in July last year and scored one goal in 27 matches and has 1542 minutes for Cádiz between La Liga and Copa Del Rei. Nathan went to Portugal in August last year, also has 27 matches, but with 1871 minutes for Famalicão between Liga Portugal and Taça Portugal. Before being loaned out, the full-back duo received a fine from Santos.

The two players were found by fans at a club in June 2023 when the club was going through a bad phase in the Brasileirão. Members of an organization, who filmed the videos that circulated online, claim that they were in a nightclub until 5 am. In one of the videos, Lucas Pires even asks the fan to take the cell phone away from his face.
