Rio – Son of left-back Marcelo, from Fluminense, Enzo Alves renewed his contract with Real Madrid, from Spain. The first-born of the tricolor ace plays in the Spanish giant’s youth categories and extended his previous contract, which ran until 2026.

Marcelo was spared from match against Sampaio Corrêa-MA, in Espírito Santo, for the third phase of the Copa do Brasil. The player took the opportunity to accompany his son, alongside his wife Clarice, as he signed a new contract with Real Madrid.

“Congratulations, my son, on yet another goal achieved! Joy, work and responsibility. Shine, my love”, wrote Marcelo on social media.

Enzo, 15 years old, plays as a center forward — very different from his father, who is a defender. However, he inherited the offensive characteristics that always made Marcelo stand out. The young man has 17 goals in the current season with Real Madrid’s Cadete B team.

In 2024, Enzo began his career with the Spanish national team. Recently scored the winning goal for Spain in an under-15 tournament. The young man, who has dual citizenship, never received a chance with the Brazilian team, and when he turns 18 he will have to choose a country to defend.

Enzo arrived at Real Madrid’s youth academy when he was just eight years old. Marcelo’s firstborn is one of the highlights of his age and is a member of the Cadete B team, as well as the team’s top scorer.
