Aix-en-Provence (France) – Playing singles and doubles in the Aix-en-Provence challenger, Felipe Meligeni from São Paulo may have a triple round ahead next Friday due to the bad weather that hampered the entire round on Thursday and prevented the completion of not even one match.

Coming from qualifying, Felipe surprised Australian Aleksandar Vukic in the first phase, seeded 8th and currently 63rd in the world, and will now face Monegasque Valentin Vacherot, 131st in the rankings and also left the qualifying phase. It will be the first time they have crossed paths on the circuit.

Meligeni and Vacherot meet at around 6:30 am (Brasília time) and whoever advances will face, later in the quarter-finals, the winner of the 100% French duel between number 1 seed Adrian Mannarino and veteran Richard Gasquet.

In addition to being able to play twice in singles on the same day, Felipe also has his quarter-final match in doubles scheduled for Friday. He and Gaucho Rafael Matos will face the partnership of Swede Andre Goransson and Dutchman Sem Verbeek.
