Democrat-SL used social media, on Wednesday night (24), to criticize Fortaleza’s under-20 players. After the 1-0 defeat to Cruzeiro in the category’s Brasileirão, the team from Ceará left the visiting dressing room at Arena do Jacaré, in Sete Lagoas, with a lot of dirt, which outraged the club from Greater BH.
On X, the old Twitter, Jacaré regretted the attitude of Leão do Pici’s base players and asked for better behavior from the northeastern club.
“Today, cruise and Fortaleza faced each other at Arena do Jacaré for the Brazilian Under-20 Championship. In a difficult match, Raposa won 1-0. It is regrettable, however, the dirt left by the people of Ceará in the dressing room. A large and exemplary Club must demand better behavior from its base,” he wrote.
On the field, Cruzeiro won with a goal from defender Pedrão, with a header. With the result, the Cruzeiro team took 5th place in the Brasileirão U20, with seven points. Fortaleza is seventh in the table, with the same score, but with a lower goal difference.
In the 5th round, Cruzeiro will visit Flamengo on Wednesday (1st), at 2pm (Brasília time), in Gávea, Rio. In turn, Fortaleza will face Athletico-PR on Wednesday (1st), at 3pm (from Brasília), in CT do Caju, in Curitiba.
