A 31-year-old man, whose name was not identified, was arrested red-handed this Friday (3/5), for attacking and threatening his own partner in the municipality of Eunápolis, 522 km from Salvador. The suspect was located in the Pequi neighborhood, by teams from the 23rd Regional Interior Police Coordination (Coorpin).
In addition to the physical attacks, he also threatened the 22-year-old victim via a messaging app. When she was at the police station giving her statement, the woman received a notification of a purchase with her credit card, made by her partner, which made it possible to locate the man.
Charged with the crimes of intentional bodily injury, threat and psychological violence against women, in accordance with the Maria da Penha Law, the suspect was subjected to a bodily injury examination and remains in custody at the Eunápolis Territorial Police Station (DT), at the disposal of the Court.
