One 1991 Honda NSX which belonged to the Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna is on sale in the UK. The car currently belongs to Robert McFagan and is available for purchase on the Auto Trader website.
The price of the car is 500 thousand pounds (R$ 3.2 million, at current prices). The vehicle had only two owners (Senna and McFagan) and has 62,900 km on the clock. The car has a 273 hp V6 engine. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds.
“It has been an enormous pleasure to own what is one of the most famous cars to have belonged to a true legend of the sport, and the thrill of driving a Senna car never goes away,” McFagan told the newspaper The Sun.
Senna was gifted the vehicle by Honda in 1991. The red NSX appears in the documentary Racing Is in My Blood, launched in 1992. The same vehicle was taken to Ímola in 2019, during a tribute marking the 25th anniversary of the pilot’s death.
Senna helped develop the first generation of the model and popularize the NSX. He owned two other examples of the Honda vehicle, both black, and one is in the possession of his family in Brazil.
