Last Thursday, 2nd, the Acre Civil Police (PCAC), through the investigation team from the Manoel Urbano General Police Station, recovered more than R$9,000 that had been stolen from a truck parked on BR 364. The theft would have occurred on May 1st.
According to information from the police authority, the money was recovered after intense investigations and diligent work by the agents involved in the case. The alleged perpetrator of the theft was located and captured by the authorities, and was later taken to the Police Station to provide clarification.
During interrogation, the individual admitted responsibility for the theft. However, it is worth mentioning that the perpetrator of the crime was released after leaving the scene.
The Delegate responsible for the case, Dr. Jade Dene, highlighted the importance of community collaboration and the investigation team’s commitment to resolving the case. “Thanks to joint work and the quick response, we were able to recover the stolen amount and capture the suspect, despite his release after leaving the scene, which demonstrates the effectiveness of police actions,” she said.
