“There are three high-level duels, against European teams, which will prepare us very well for the Pre-Olympic challenge”, said coach Aleksandar Petrovic. He recently resumed the men’s basketball team after the departure of Gustavo de Conti. The matches should mark his re-debut at the head of the yellow-green team.

The Brazilian team faced Poland in two friendlies at their rival’s home in the last edition of the men’s basketball Pre-Olympic. Furthermore, they played against Croatia in the tournament, winning as well. Meanwhile, the last friendly with Slovenia took place in 2014. On that occasion, Brazil won 88-84, in a tournament at their rival’s home before the World Cup in Spain.
