Frustrating draw for Rubro-Negro

Last Tuesday (2), Flamengo began their journey in the Copa Libertadores and only ended up in a 1-1 draw against Millonarios, in a match played in Bogotá, Colombia.

The result frustrated expectations, as Mengão had been on a roll, accumulating victories and few draws in the Carioca Championship. The score also dropped a heavy record for goalkeeper Rossiwho had gone 1,134 minutes without conceding a goal.

After the match, Tite commented on the reasons that were barriers to Mais Querido’s performance, pointing out the altitude as the villain, but also addressing absences and limitations due to physical exhaustion. De La Cruz, for example, became a last-minute embezzlement, with no chance of even staying on the bench.

However, in addition to Fla’s commander, midfielder Allan admitted problems that had a direct impact on the result of the match. It is worth remembering that the performance of one of the most powerful squads in the country also generated criticism in the press.

Allan explained

The steering wheel entered the second half about the game, and even won praise from the coachbut, he was sincere when analyzing the match presented by the team:

“There was altitude, there was the field, there were also changes (in the team). Some changes which, whether we like it or not, influence the team’s chemistry, but I’m glad we fit in in the second half. We had a better second half and we have to continue evolving”, stated the number 21, upon arriving in Rio de Janeiro, in an interview with the Coluna do Fla portal.

Pedro, scorer of Mengão’s goal, achieved an important milestone, by scoring the Club’s top scorer in the Libertadores, however, he was also dissatisfied with the result, as he brought post-game article from Bolavip Brasil.
