After being eliminated in the semi-finals of the Catarinense Championship by Criciúma, Barra returns this Wednesday after nine days of rest. The focus of the Balneário Camboriú team is the Brazilian Series D. The presence of Rafael Lacerda, coach announced last Tuesday, will be a new feature in the activity at CT.

In addition to training, Pescador announced that it will hold two friendlies before its debut in the national competition. One of the matches takes place on April 20th, against Paraná.

Rafael Lacerda wants to use the experience gained in the fourth division in previous years to help Barra gain access.

– I have played in Série D on three occasions as a coach. This is important. Of course, this does not guarantee that we will gain access, but it brings us a certain amount of experience and experience that I will try to bring to Barra. I’m reaching a process where things are already happening. I hope to join the project and bring my experience to help in the search for access – he highlighted.

Barra is in Group A8 of Series D along with Avenida, Brasil de Pelotas, Cianorte, Concórdia, FC Cascavel, Hercílio Luz and Novo Hamburgo. In the first round, they will look for three points against Noia in Santa Catarina.
