Now, according to the Penitentiary Administration Secretariat (SAP), the former player will be able to participate in soccer matchesin addition to theater workshops, English classes, religious actions, musical rehearsals and film sessions followed by comments.

Lawyer José Eduardo Alckmin told the g1 that Robinho is well and living the prison routine. He has not had contact with the former athlete since his arrest. Information about the situation in the penitentiary is passed on by the ex-player’s wife to the defense.

“Of course he would prefer to be free and living his life. But, as far as possible, he is fine,” said the lawyer.

In a note, SAP explained to the reporting team that Robinho will be called to indicate which family members he wants to receive visits from. The chosen people will then be able to submit the necessary documentation to create a visitor card.

With documentation in accordance with the requirements of the SAP Standard Internal Regime, the former player will be able to receive family members at the penitentiary on weekends.

The penitentiary, where Robinho is serving his sentence, is known as the ‘prison of the famous’. There are inmates from other repercussion cases, such as:

• Alexandre Nardoni, convicted of the death of his daughter Isabella
• Cristian Cravinhos, arrested for the murder of the Richthofen couple
• Lindemberg Alves, who killed Eloá Pimentel
• Gil Rugai, convicted of the death of his father and stepmother.

The place has also received Mizael Bispo, who served time for killing Mércia Nakashima, and Edinho, Pelé’s son.

The crime of collective sexual violence occurred in 2013, when Robinho was one of the main players at Milan, a club from Milan, Italy. Nine years after the case, on January 19, 2022, the court in that country ultimately sentenced him to serve the established sentence.

Robinho was convicted after having raped an Albanian woman together with five other men in a nightclub in Milan. The victim was unconscious due to heavy alcohol consumption. The convicts claim that the relationship was consensual.
