The zebras were not present in the quarterfinals of the Women’s Volleyball Super League. Flamengo, Osasco, Minas and Praia Clube finished the first phase as the best teams and guaranteed a place in the semifinals.
As they finished as leaders of the initial phase, Flamengo, who eliminated Barueri, will face Praia Clube, a team from Minas Gerais that finished in fourth place and eliminated Sesi Bauru, in the only match in the quarterfinals that was game three and for tie-breaks in all matches.
The other semi-final will mark the meeting between second-placed Osasco, who beat Pinheiros, and Minas, a team from Belo Horizonte who finished third in the first phase and was the only one not to lose sets in the quarter-finals – they eliminated Fluminense with two victories by 3 sets to 0.
The times and dates of the semifinals of the Women’s Volleyball Super League have not yet been released by the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV), organizer of the competition.
Due to the best position in the initial phase of the Superliga, Flamengo and Osasco will have priority over court control.
