The player was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for the crime of sexual violence. After serving 14 months in preventive care, Daniel Alves was granted provisional release until the end of the trial of the case’s appeals. This measure was designed through the payment of a bond and other requirements, such as the delivery of passports.
