Arthur Jorge said goodbye to Braga and will meet with John Textor this Tuesday to confirm his departure to the Botafogo. Journalist Venê Casagrande revealed that he had a conversation with the president of the Portuguese club last Monday, when the Portuguese press reported that the coach might not come anymore.
– I had a quick conversation with him when the news started to appear (in Portugal) and he said: “No, we are still here, everything is fine, everything is fine, some obstacles, but after the game he will talk about it”. So much so that he spoke and even traveled to meet John Textor – said Venê on “SBT Sports Rio”.
The journalist revealed some behind the scenes of Artur Jorge’s farewell to the Braga players and said that the new Botafogo coach is very good at interacting with the athletes.
– The Braga players were very sorry when he left, one even cried, because it was a farewell to him speaking to everyone at lunch, he hugged everyone, he had a beautiful story there. In addition to praising the tactical aspect, he said that he is a very good environmental coach as well. And that’s good for Botafogo – said Venê.
