Typically, volleyball players say that when the playoffs start, a new competition begins. And this was seen in the first round of the quarterfinals of the Men’s Volleyball Super League, which was marked by upsets in all matches. The four games were played on Sunday (31/3) and this Monday (1/4).

Cruzeiro, São José, Sesi Bauru and Guarulhos finished the initial phase of the Superliga in first place, were hosts of the first clash of the best of three duels against the other classifieds – Campinas, Joinville, Araguari and Minas, respectively – and lost in the initial round.

Defeated in front of their own fans, the clubs will visit their rivals in game two of the series with the obligation to win to force the third clash – which would be at home – and try to continue in the competition. The decisive duels will take place on Thursday (4/4) and Friday (5/4) – see the times for each match below.
