Competition regulations

In the Brazilian Under-20 Championship, 20 clubs face each other in a single round, totaling 19 rounds. The best eight qualify for the quarterfinals.

The clashes will be defined according to the teams’ campaign in the first phase: 1st x 8th place; 2nd x 7th; 3rd x 6th and 4th x 5th.

As there will only be one game in the quarterfinals, the team that has scored the most points in the competition has the advantage of playing at home. The same will happen in the semi-final. In case of a draw, there will be penalty kicks.

In the decision, the finalists do round-trip duels.
