Brazilian champion for the club in 2009, former Flamengo player Willians, aged 38, was arrested for not paying child support for his 11-year-old daughter who lives in Brazil. Currently living abroad, he is considered a fugitive from Brazilian justice due to a debt that would reach R$700,000. The information is from TV Record.

According to the TV, Willians, who is married and has another daughter, is also responsible for emotional abandonment. The former midfielder’s defense acknowledged the debt, but contested the amounts requested by the child’s mother.

According to the former player’s defense, he had back wages to receive from a club, and, with that money, he would pay the debt. Willians’ daughter is the result of a relationship between the player when he played for Flamengo.

In addition to Flamengo, the midfielder played for Internacional, Cruzeiro, Corinthians and Udinese, in Italy.
