Palmeiras awaits Conmebol to complete reinforcement registration for the Libertadores

O Palm trees awaits approval from Conmebol to complete the registration of the attacking midfielder Romulo in the 2024 Libertadores.

The information was confirmed by the São Paulo club itself in a statement on the official website. The club’s idea is to count on the reinforcement of Novorizontino in the duel against San Lorenzowhich will take place this Wednesday (3), at 9:30 pm, in Argentina, with live broadcast on ESPN on Star+.

“I want to be with the squad in this game. I’m in good shape physically, I’ve already been playing a lot of games, so I’m in great shape. If I happen to play, I feel ready”, said the attacking midfielder to Palmeiras’ official website.

“It’s very important to receive this affection from the fans. I intend to give back on the field, performing in the best way possible, scoring great games, goals, assists, helping the team. I’m really happy for everyone’s affection and I hope to continue like this”, he concluded.

Rômulo was on the field in Novorizontino’s elimination against Palmeiras, last Thursday (28), in Alviverde’s 1-0 victory. The following day, the athlete, hired during the competition, appeared at CT do Verdão and was with the delegation in the first leg of the final against Santos.
