The most acute moment of the 8th TV Tribuna School Basketball Cup is approaching. This is because, this week, the knockout stages of the tournament will begin. The next games will continue to be held at Fefis.
Initially, the last classified in the men’s round of 16 will be known, which are scheduled for Wednesday (3) and Thursday (4). Before that, however, the remaining clashes for the first stage take place. These matches take place this Monday (1st).
Regarding the women’s category, on Tuesday (2), there will be a play-off between the second and third placed teams from the last phase. Whoever wins will join Carmo, EE Professor Francisco Meira, Liceu São Paulo and Jean Piaget, teams already classified in the quarterfinals. The schools that advance to the semi-finals will be defined on Friday (5).
The TV Tribuna School Basketball Cup is an event held by TV Tribuna, a Globo affiliate in Baixada Santista and Vale do Ribeira and organized by the National Sports Association with support from the Sports secretariat of Santos City Hall.
The objective is to encourage the practice of sport, contextualized as an educational instrument, promoting improved quality of life, integration, social and sporting exchange and student fraternization, enabling the emergence of new values in the sport, as well as disseminating and develop your practice in the region.
