Imagine being part of a club with racing tracks that allow speeds of approximately 250km/h? That’s what the Magarigawa Club is offering for the price of R$1.2 million per membership. Created by a Japanese billionaire, the place opened last year just over an hour from Tokyo, Japan.

Built in a mountainous region, the track was designed by Formula 1 circuit designer Hermann Tilke at a total cost of around R$1 billion. It’s 3.5 km, 22 curves and a mix of climbs and descents. The area is technically open to the public, but access is limited to exclusive members of the club, the first of its kind in Asia.

In addition to the racing area, the complex also has five villas overlooking the track, with space for four cars in each. Members also have access to luxurious accommodations, as well as an infinity pool, gym, restaurant, lounge bar, spa and other facilities.

The Magarigawa Club has also created an elite team of instructors, led by former Japanese driver and 1995 Le Mans 24h winner Masanori Sekiya. His mission is to teach the finer points of high-speed driving.
