Last weekend, AVV held the first competition of the season with the Beach Volleyball Circuit that brought together dozens of pairs from Vilhena and Commodore – MT, in the male and female suits in the under 20 and beginners categories. The courts of the Association and the Jorge Teixeira gymnasium hosted the competition matches simultaneously and had a strong presence of the athletes’ families, especially those in the beginners category, who provided strong emotions for the mothers and fathers who witnessed their children’s performance, many of them participating for the first time. of a competition.
The competition held by AVV aimed to further disseminate the practice of the sport in our municipality and mainly to encourage the formation of teams that will represent schools in the municipal phase of the 2024 school games. The technical direction of the Association evaluated the circuit as positive and due to the success participation of local teams that exceeded expectations and plans to carry out other stages in the first half of the year.
