Drone show has been canceled
Athletico canceled the drone show, an action promoted to celebrate the club’s centenary, after the game against Operário. The victory confirmed Furacão’s place in the final of the Campeonato Paranaense against Maringá FC, which eliminated Coritiba.

After announcing and publicizing the initiative, the club reported that technical problems had occurred. The spectacle was scheduled to take place 30 minutes after the end of the match. According to a statement released by the club, the show featured 200 drones, controlled by artificial intelligence, which would form 13 historical images of the red and black centenary.

The drone show would take place for about ten minutes, with the images in the Ligga Arena’s outdoor parking lot. The expectation was that the 35,298 people who attended the stadium would be able to view the images on the Arena’s terrace and boulevard.

This was Athletico’s second celebration event that ended up cancelled. Last week, Furacão gave up on painting the inner wall of the Ligga Arena. “The result was not as expected,” said the club.
