Pro Am Training Surf Circuit, Camburi, São Sebastião (SP)
The first stage of the Surf Training Pro Am Circuit took place last Monday (25), at Camburi Beach, São Sebastião (SP). With good waves of 1.5 meters in the series, the highlights were Pedro Dib, men’s champion, and Yasmin Neves, women’s champion.
Pedro Dib had an unbeatable performance, with 100% success from the first heat. And with the highest score of the entire event in the final, Dib leads the way in the fight for the 2024 professional title on the circuit.
Yasmin presented strong, solid surfing and a good choice of waves during the final to open the 2024 professional ranking at the highest place on the podium.
The circuit will have four stages on the North Coast of São Paulo. After the first three stages, the eight best male surfers and the four best female surfers advance to the final in Paúba, which will define the circuit champions.
The Circuit is worth points towards the official ranking of São Sebastião. The champions take the Sebastian title. The next stage takes place in Maresias, on April 27th or 28th. Check out the full calendar, just click here.
Dispute format – In the men’s duels, there will be eight heats with four athletes in round 1, where two surfers advance to round 2. In the women’s, the disputes take place with four heats in round 1, where two surfers advance to the second phase.
From the semifinals onwards, in both categories, the confrontations will be in the athlete versus athlete format.
