Robinho, media personality and millionaire former football player, will not be able to enjoy privileges acquired in his career while he is in prison. In prison, there are some restrictions such as wardrobe. An example of this scenario is that the former attacker will have the right to wear only two pairs of sneakers and flip-flops in the Tremembé penitentiary.
This requirement appears on the website of the São Paulo State Penitentiary Administration Secretariat (SAP) in relation to products and food that can be delivered to inmates. The package sent by the prisoners’ families is called jumbo. In fact, the people closest to the detainees send it by post or deliver it in person to prison units after periods of seven days.
As Robinho will not have privileges in prison, the list of clothes and footwear, like other prisoners, is as follows:
– Low-soled sneakers without shock absorbers – Only one pair is possible per package (the inmate has the right to use up to two pairs in the penitentiary).
– Flip-flops with a thin sole and simple rubber straps – Only one pair per shipment (the prisoner may have up to two pairs in prison).
– Two beige/khaki elastic shorts or shorts without print, button, zipper or drawstring
– Two examples of cold-weather blouses in beige/khaki or white, without hood, without lining, without zipper, without pocket
– Two standard pants in beige/khaki with elastic and no pocket
– Two copies of white t-shirts with crew neck and short sleeves
– A white t-shirt with a crew neck and long sleeves
– Five pairs of socks
– Five pairs of underwear
Robinho’s adaptation to prison
In a statement, SAP’s press office detailed that, after the former player’s integration into Tremembé, he received a basic package. In this case, with uniform, cleaning material and personal hygiene. The note also clarifies that, at first, Robinho is alone in a cell for two people. He will undergo a ten-day observation process and, subsequently, will finally be able to receive visitors.
