Flamengo has a week of life or death in volleyball

Best-of-three series starts this Wednesday (27), in São Paulo

Sesc Flamengo closed the first phase of the Women’s Volleyball Super League in first place. With the good campaign, Bernardinho’s team reaches the knockout stage as one of the favorites for the title. Now, the Red and Blacks have a decisive week, of life or death, as they face Barueri in the quarterfinals.

Each knockout stage is played in a best-of-three-game series. Therefore, the first clash between Flamengo and Barueri takes place at 6:30 pm (Brasília time) this Wednesday (27), in São Paulo. Afterwards, the second match is at Tijuca Tênis Clube, at 7pm (Brasília time) on Saturday (30). Therefore, if necessary, the third duel will take place at 6pm (Brasília time) on April 3rd, at Maracanãzinho.

Bernardinho’s Sesc Flamengo finished the regular season (phase of consecutive points in turn and return between 12 teams) in first place.
