Haddad highlighted that the specific measures of each ministry, such as infrastructure works, are still being studied. According to him, the departments wait for the rainwater to recede to measure real needs and arrive at the necessary values.
The measures announced today are aimed at families, municipalities, rural producers and companies in Rio Grande do Sul. The estimate is that 3.5 million people will benefit.
Haddad said that measures related to the finances of the state of Rio Grande do Sul should be announced on Monday (13), after agreement with governor Eduardo Leite (PSDB-MG).

IR refunds in the state will be paid by June, said Haddad, without having to go through the normal payment schedule. According to government calculations, around 1.6 million declarants will be affected by the measure, with an impact of R$1 billion. The minister also announced the anticipation of salary bonuses and the release of two installments of unemployment insurance (for unemployed people who were already receiving the benefit).
