Reinaldo Lima, historic idol of Clube Atlético Mineiro, made an unexpected presence alongside President Lula (PT), during the inauguration of an insulin factory, in Nova Lima, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. Smiling, the Galo star took photos with the PT member and reposted them on his social networks.
“The King and the president and Minister Padilha in defense”, wrote Reinaldo, joking about the presence of the federal government’s Minister of Institutional Relations, Alexandre Padilha, who appears smiling in the background of the “selfie” taken by the player.
The post garnered many comments and likes. Many of the player’s followers criticized the appearance alongside the president. Others recalled political positions adopted by the former player.
