His ex said he did not file a police report because he was intimidated. “My father will protect me and [você] you will lose”, Luis Cláudio was quoted as saying.

TJ-SP considered the complaint to be coherent and credible. The Court granted protective measures until there are updates on the police investigation.

Luis Cláudio denies the accusations. “We are aware of the fanciful statements that were made by the doctor, attributing untrue and fanciful attacks to our client,” wrote lawyer Carmen Silva Costa Ramos Tannuri, who represents him, in a note.

Defender said she will take the relevant legal measures. According to her, “lies fall within the types of crimes of slander, insult and defamation, in addition to being liable for compensation for moral damages.”

The victim asked on social media that President Lula and his family not be held responsible. “Stop holding family members responsible for the evil of a 40-year-old adult man. They are totally different people,” he wrote. The post was deleted minutes later.

Women’s Defense Police Station investigates the case. The crimes reported were domestic violence, threats, domestic violence and others. In a statement, the SSP-SP (São Paulo Public Security Secretariat) said that agents are taking steps to clarify the facts.
