After paying 1 million euros (R$5.4 million) in bail to appeal the rape conviction while on provisional release, Daniel Alves moved his social networks for the first time.
The player had had a black blur as his profile photo for months. Instagram. Now, he posted an image with a serious face and looking at the horizon. The Spanish press covered this news.
“Everything seems to indicate that Alves is trying to recover his life little by little and that he will resume his activity on social media sooner or later”, reported the newspaper La Vanguardia.
The player left Brians 2 prison, in Barcelona, on Monday (25/3), where he was detained for 14 months.
Gift when you get home
Upon arriving home, the player was surprised with a gift. A delivery man was spotted approaching the residence with a bouquet of flowers. Daniel Alveshowever, did not go out the door to get the bouquet.
Some vehicles in Spain reported that the bouquet might be aimed at the player’s wife, Spanish model Joana Sanz. However, it is not known whether or not she is in the house.
Conviction of Daniel Alves in Spain
On February 22, Daniel Alves was found guilty of the crime of sexual assault and sentenced to four and a half years in prison, in addition to another five years of supervised release and payment of compensation of 150 thousand euros (R$ 798 thousand, at the rate of time) and the costs of the process.
The sexual assault on a 23-year-old woman occurred at the end of December 2022, in a nightclub in Barcelona. Daniel Alves has been in prison since January 2023. Now, he will appeal the decision of the first instance while free.
