UAI operates with expanded service in Minas and makes life easier for citizens

Twenty Integrated Service Units (UAI) had their opening hours extended – 8am to 4pm – to serve citizens in Minas Gerais this Saturday (April 27). In the capital of Minas Gerais, three are open to the public: Barreiro, Praça Sete and Venda Nova.

The service works by prior appointment, via Portal MG and MG App Cidadão, and is free. The objective is to temporarily increase the capacity to serve the population seeking public services offered at the location. Among them are:

. Issuance of identity card;
. Issuance of the professional card;
. Request for unemployment insurance;
. Labor intermediation;
. Traffic services focused on licenses and vehicles.

The person who took advantage of Saturday to get his National Driving License (CNH) was Welder Martins, 35 years old.

“It is of great importance to extend this service to Saturdays, precisely to benefit workers. From Monday to Friday, sometimes we don’t have time to come here because of the rush of everyday life. I came to collect my driver’s license. During the week I don’t stay at home, because of work, and that’s why they told me to pick it up here on Saturday.”

The user approved the service received at UAI Praça Sete. “I rated the service as excellent. If it weren’t for pick up today, it would be very difficult for them to find me at home”, he highlighted.

Retired Marli de Paula, 65, took advantage of being in the Center of BH and came to seek information on how to get a new identity card.

“My document is already very old and I want to take advantage of the new one to get everything straightened out. I found out about the step by step process. Now, I’m going to do everything through the app so I can return here on the scheduled date. The expansion of the document is wonderful. service on Saturdays. It really helps our lives.”

In addition to the BH UAIs, users in the metropolitan region and other locations in the State had expanded service: Vale do Rio Doces, Zona da Mata, Norte de Minas, Sul de Minas, Campo das Vertentes, Vale do Mucuri and Triângulo Mineiro/Alto Paranaíba.
