Woman resigns 27 minutes after starting work after discovering how hotel cleaning was done

The first day of service for a resident of the United States lasted much less time than he expected. In a report on social media, the woman, known on TikTok as “Laugh Track”, relived the experience that led her to quit her job just 27 minutes after starting her new job. The post gained great repercussion on the platform, accumulating more than 260 thousand likes. The case was publicized by La Nation.

The American’s experience occurred as a cleaner in a hotel located in Georgia, USA. “They explained to me what my tasks would consist of and I chose to accept the proposal”, reports the woman. However, everything changed on the first day.

Upon entering the first room, “Laugh” began to gather his cleaning materials: “I grabbed gloves and bleach and said, ‘Okay, let’s get to work,'” he recalls. However, her colleague abruptly interrupted her: “‘No, no, no, no,'” she warned. At that moment, “Laugh” realized something was wrong.

The American’s colleague then began using duct tape to remove supposed debris from the floor. She then sprayed some bleach into the room, saying: “That’s it, the bathroom is clean.”

This situation had already left her indignant, but it was far from over. When “Laugh” tried to unmake the bed to change the used sheets, her colleague stopped her once again. “She turned on the vacuum cleaner and ran the machine over the dirty sheets. Then she made the bed and that was it,” recalls the American.

Another point that bothered “Laugh” was the fact that his colleague did not replace the disposable coffee cups used by previous guests. She just washed them, “Laugh” reported.

“So I said, ‘Ah, okay’. I wrapped my coat around me, which was on the back of one of the chairs, and left the hotel,” says “Laugh”. The American received several comments from people who went through similar situations at work. “Never trust a hotel again,” commented one internet user.
