Rio – The two call girls, Beatriz Freitas dos Santos, 43, and Shayna Xavier Monteiro da Silva, 27, suspected of involvement in the kidnapping of an American judge, were arrested this Wednesday (13). Police are still trying to identify two other suspects.

An American judge was kidnapped last Monday (11) from his flat in Copacabana, South Zone of Rio. He had received two call girls who left in the morning of the same day and, in the afternoon, returned with two men who identified themselves as police officers. They stole a sum of money from the tourist and even asked for R$ 200,000 for its ransom.

A task force of the Civil Police, formed by the Anti-Kidnapping Police Station (DAS), 24th DP (Piedade) and the Special Police Station for Tourist Assistance (DEAT), arrested Erivaldo Juvino Silva, known as “Nem da Malvina”, accused of the crime.

O DAY had access to the testimony of the American who explained that he had sexual intercourse with the two women and, around 11:30 am, they asked to leave. He called an uber and when it was afternoon, they came back. “He went to visualize through the peephole of the door what it was about and visualized the two girls outside, apparently alone and when opening the door, two other elements appeared. They were hidden next to the door, so the declarant could not view them,” part of the document said.

The tourist also reported that he was taken back to his flat by the kidnappers and was even accompanied by one of them to Banco Bradesco, in Copacabana, to withdraw money from his account.
