With more than four decades active, composing, recording and performing constantly around the world, the Suicidal Tendencies is a legend of crossover thrash, a band that raises the flag for skate rock and is still able to shine in the eyes of new generations. In July, the North American band, always led by iconic vocalist Mike Muir (also known as “Cyco Miko”) returns to Brazil with the tour We Are Familyan exclusive tour for the country and at the request of the band itself, with five shows.

A We Are Family starts on 12/07 in Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and continues on 13/07 in São Paulo (SP), 14/07 in Curitiba (PR), 16/07 in Porto Alegre (RS) and ends on 17/07 in Belo Horizonte (MG).

The locations of each performance of this new Brazilian tour of Suicidal Tendenciesas well as information about ticket sales, will be released starting this Friday, 3/05.

The tour is a production by Estelita and Demétrio Produções, carried out by New Direction Productions.

Founded in the 1980s in Venice, California (USA), Suicidal Tendencies is still one of the most explosive live bands, with energetic performances that make the audience jump and sing with their unique sound mixing elements of punk, hardcore and thrash – over the last four decades, they have even incorporated funk and rap.

It will be the first time that the band comes to Brazil with the new lineup, which includes the recently integrated drummer Jay Weinberg, ex-Slipknot, who takes over from Greyson Nekrutman, currently playing drumsticks on Sepultura’s farewell tour.

“When I think of the heavy music culture and community that I love and have called my creative home for 20 years, I think of Suicidal Tendencies. A fundamental pillar and source of inspiration since I fell in love with punk, metal and hardcore”, said Weinberg in a note on social media last April, when it was announced.
