Information obtained by Variety magazine and published this Wednesday (3) shows that singer Jennifer Lopez, in common agreement with her team, decided to change the name of the next tour. The reason would be the low demand for tickets.

The show, which would be called “This Is Me… Now”, like the album of the same name released in February, was renamed “This Is Me… Live | The Greatest Hits”.

At the time of her debut, JLo even stated that the recording of her next films would coincide with her music plans. However, tour dates were canceled without fanfare in cities such as Cleveland and Nashville, both in the United States, given the percentage of sales.

The idea, according to the magazine, would be to do the rebrand so that the classic songs could boost demand, since their new album failed to connect with the general public.

Live Nation, the tour’s producer, did not update its official website. When contacted, neither she nor Lopez’s team wanted to comment to the magazine.

Budgeted at US$20 million (around R$101 million), “This Is Me… Now” is a multimedia project that gave rise not only to the album in question, but also to two films, which serve as a sequel/ complement to the project “This Is Me… Then”, a classic released in 2002 after her breakup with actor Ben Affleck, now her husband.
